Information we collect
We collect the information you give us when you request a quote, make a booking or contact us. That normally includes your name, phone number, email address, the property address and the details you tell us about the pest problem, including any photo you choose to attach.
We also record basic technical information that your browser sends when you visit the site, such as the pages you view. We do not ask for identity documents, and we do not collect information we do not need in order to do the work.
How we use information
We use your information to do the things you have asked us to do and to run the business behind them:

Confirm, schedule and carry out a booking
Keep a record of the service and follow up afterwards
Answer questions you send us
Apply referral discounts and credits where they are due
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Bookings and quote requests
When you complete a booking or a quote request, the details are saved against a reference number so our team can find your job and contact you about it. Photos you attach to a quote request are stored with that request and used only to understand the problem.
If you use a referral link, we record the referral code with your booking so the discount and the referrer’s credit can be applied correctly.
Payments
Online payments are handled by the payment provider connected to this website. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s own secure page and are not stored by ButlerLtd. We keep the order record, the amount and whether the payment succeeded.
Cookies and website usage
This website uses cookies to keep the site working correctly. One cookie remembers a referral code when you arrive through a referral link, so the discount can be applied to your booking. Others are set by WordPress, WooCommerce and our website tools to manage sessions and measure basic site usage.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the booking and quote flows may not work correctly if you do.
Sharing information
We share your information only where it is needed to deliver the service or run the site:
With the ButlerLtd technicians attending your property
With our payment provider, to process a payment you have chosen to make
With the service providers that host this website and send our email

Data security
This website is served over an encrypted connection and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to do their job. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us and we do not keep it for longer than we need it.
Your rights and requests
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Email contact@butlerltd.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

We may update this policy as our services or the website change. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed.
